Recording a good drum track is key to making music track but recording real drums is beyond the means of most hobbyist musicians. This is dedicated to creating drum tracks.that is to say it uses small sound files for each drum sound.
In fact Hydrogen is an advanced drum machine. A very good one too. You don't have to be a skilled drummer to be able to play cool beats. The interface is very user friendly. It's main goal is to bring you professional, yet simple and intuitive, pattern-based drum programming.

  • A Simple, Intuitive, and Powerful Interface

    The user interface is based on QT, an advanced Graphical User Interface.  The user interface is by far the easiest to use of any similar music application!  Everything that you could want is easily accessible with as little as one click!

  • Stereo Engine

    The sample-based stereo engine has support for .WAV, .AU, .AIFF, and FLAC format audio files.

  • Powerful Sequencer

    The sequencer is pattern-based.  It allows you to include an unlimited number of patters and to make a chain of appterns into a song!  It supports up to 64 ticks in a pattern.  You can also adjust the volume level and length of each pattern.

  • Robust Mixer

    The mixer allows you to include up to 32 instrumental tracks in a project.  You can also adjust the volume level as well as take advantage of the unique pan capabilities. 

    You can also add multiple layers of instruments with a maximum of 16 samples per instrument.  The program also has human velocity, human time, pitch and swing functions.

    Also, there is the ability to play multiple patterns at the same time!

  • Enhanced Compatibility

    Compatible with JACK, ALSA, PortAudio, and OSS audio drivers.

    Compatible with ALSA MIDI and PortMidi input and ability to assign the midi-in channel (1 through 16, or all)

    Ability to export songs to WAV or MIDI files.
