Our Opinion:
Though dual SIM card cell phones have been around for a while, I've only seen them while traveling abroad and at trade show booths in Asia. The premise is simple and very attractive: with slots for two SIM cards, a single phone can have two phone numbers which can be an asset. You can receive and make calls on both lines and the SIM cards can even be from separate carriers, again if you are a person on the go, then this is what you need.
It's a great option for anyone who wants to combine their work and personal phone and it's perfect for frequent international travelers who want a local number while retaining their U.S. number or if you have family abroad you can place a US Sim card in the phone and they can use there countries phone service to talk.
Duet is Made by Beyond E-Tech and come with a 1 year warranty from an Authorized Distributor with a Valid Resale ID. The unlocked Duet accommodates two SIM cards: one for the Cellular Abroad intentional SIM card and one for another card of your choice, as mentioned above. You could use your own SIM card for any GSM carrier like AT&T or T-Mobile or you could buy a prepaid card. Or you can use one SIM card for your current GSM Carrier and a 2nd SIM on a prepaid SIM. Your Choice really on how you will configure your phone.
The phone will not work with SPRINT, Nextel or Verizon, the phones use a CDMA .

A few extra Tid Bits:
Since this is an unlocked phone and is not mated to any particular service all of the features including the date and time will need to be set up, however you would like. It is important to note, there is a setting for auto updating certain functions such as date and time. Once you activated it, you will never need to do it again unless you change it that setting or a child gets a hold of the phone..lol. An added perk to this phone is the double glass LCD display, which is bright and crisp, but provides added protection to the display. The USB cord is supplied so you can download you music to from your PC to the Duet Phone and to save the pics or movies you take for later upload to your PC.
