A native of New South Wales and Victoria  eastern coastal plains where it grows in light to heavy soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought and frost resistant.

An evergreen, strong-growing climber that reaches to a height of 3 metres. The stem is vigorous, twining and mat forming with slender, hairy branches. The leaves are dull green, hairy and trifoliate (with three leaflets) 15cm long. The flowers are dark red, pea shaped and 4 cm long occurring in slender heads. Flowering is in spring.  

Offered is a packet of 30 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this vigorous climber.
