Up for auction is this FaBULOUS Vintage MID Century MODERN Wooden MONKEY!
~Original Vintage Item, Not A Reproduction!~
This gorgeous monkey is a 1950's Japanese version of Kay Bojesens teak animals. Replicas of this little guy retail for around $300 in specialty shops. He is in complete condition with all limbs, ears, hands etc, even down to his cute head of real hair. If you love mid century designer pieces this fella is a must have display item for your retro pad.
Condition- Good Vintage Condition.
At some period a previous owner has replaced his joints with stretchy elastic and there are two tiny tacks just visible on his left side, and two remnants of the wooden attatchments on the right. I only mention this for accuracy and as you can see by the pics you can't tell when hes seated and this does not detract from his charm in any way.
