HERE I HAVE A VERY VINTAGE PILLOW TOP FROM THE EARLY 1900'S.  THIS IS A PILLOW TOP OR WALL DECORE THAT WAS FOR SPOKANE HIGH SCHOOL IN SPOKANE, WASHINGTON.  THIS ITEM SHOWS A BASKET BALL WITH A BLACK PENNET THAT HAS THE INITIALS SHS, SOME ORANGE RIBBON AND THE WORD SPOKANE AT THE BOTTOM.  THIS DESIGN WAS EXCLUSIVE TO KEMP & HEBERT, AS IT IS STATED ON THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE FABRIC, A CHAIN DEPARTMENT STORE HERE IN SPOKANE.  THIS ITEM HAS BEEN STORED FOR OVER 80 YEARS IN ALL. THIS ITEM MEASURES APPROX. 21" BY 21". IT BELONGED TO MY GRANDMOTHER, I INHERITED IT FROM HERE AROUND 40 YEARS AGO.  THIS IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, THE ONLY THING IS THAT MY GRANDMOTHER STARTED TO DO SOME NEEDLEWORK ON THE WORD SPOKANE, SO THERE IS WHITE THREAD ON THE LETTER "S", I AM SURE THAT CAN BE REMOVED OR FINISHED, WHATEVER YOU WANTED TO DO.  THIS HIGH SCHOOL WAS IN SPOKANE AROUND THE TURN OF THE CENTURY,IT IS NO LONGER HERE.  THIS IS QUITE A PIECE  OF LOCAL SPOKANE HISTORY OR JUST A VERY NICE UNUSUAL PILLOWTOP OR WALL PICTURE.  BUYER PAYS $3.50 SHIPPING, PAYMENT IS DUE IN 10 DAYS.  THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!
