This is a very pretty early Japanese teapot. It is a crisp white with a large spray of mixed flowers on the front and a smaller version on the reverse.There is also a small spray on the lid. There are gilded accents on the lid, handle and spout. It is in good clean condition with no chips or cracks. I think that it is most likely to be from the 1940's or 1950's. It is marked SUPERIOR made in Japan on the base. It stands 15cm(6")tall.I think that it would be a 4-6cup teapot. A very pretty item to own and use.Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
