FOUNDED IN SHEFFIELD BY SILVERSMITHS JAMES & HENRY HARRISON AND WILLIAM HOWSON IN 1847, THE FIRM WON RENOWN FOR THE HIGH QUALITY OF THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIP IN SILVERPLATE ON BRITANNIA METAL OF WHICH THIS IS A FINE EXAMPLE.

THE TEAPOT MEASURES 27CM FROM SPOUT TO HANDLE, HOLDS FIVE CUPS AND AS A TESTAMENT TO ITS INTEGRITY THE DISTINCTIVE CONCAVE LID AND ITS HINGE ARE STILL PERFECTLY ALIGNED.

THIS IS A RARE PIECE OF VICTORIAN SILVERWARE THAT WILL BE A COVETED FIND FOR A KEEN COLLECTOR.
