Why do you need an air dryer? |
|
|
Why do you need an air dryer for an ozone generator that is using ambient air gas as its gas resource?
Generally, ozone generators can be fed either by oxygen or dry air. But only the oxygen in the air is useful for ozone generators in converting the gas into ozone. In the case of ambient air, the high humidity of the air will cause serious negative affects to ozone generators.
- Decrease the ozone output greatly.
- Increase the possibility of generating side-product gases, which may not be favorite.
- Fog or high humidity in the ozone tube will easily lead to electrical failures and will shorten the life time of the ozone cell.
Also an ozone generator without treated gas feeding will pump out all the possible small articles in the air into your treated water and may bring a second pollution.
Be sure to use ozone generator with a carefully treated feeding gas resource to protect yourself and increase the performance of your ozone generator.

I've been using mine (OZX-300U) for about 5 months and love it! It's kind of a multi purpose unit so it's nothing fancy but it sure puts out the ozone (200-300)……I've even blasted a closed room with ozone for about 20 minutes, I don't go back in the room except to quickly unplug the unit and then quickly leave again for at least an hour. I no longer have any trouble with mold spores even used the unit for my kids swimming pool! ……The seller in China was very easy to work with/ and I got it without a bit of problems……By the way I'm NOT the seller although I do sell through ebay I just bought this unit from this seller and I'm just able to give what my experience was. |

I've had it installed on my 180 (250g total system volume) for about 7 months now I guess it's been with no problems at all, the tank has settled in at around 450mv and the O3 only kicks in once in a while now and the water stays crystal clear and the ER still does a great job of skimming. |

The very best prices I've found are from a Chinese company called Enaly. You can buy ozone generators directly from them through their store on eBay. I've been using one of their generators for the past six months or so, running on a daily basis, and it's been absolutely rock solid (and works beautifully!) | Q1. Which is the better unit , OZX- 300U or OZX-300Y ? |
|
Both OZX-300U and EOZ-300Y are at the same quality level. The difference of these two products is that OZX-300U has a built in air pump, which EOZ-300Y does not have. OZX-300U is designed for users who do not intend to use their own air pumps or want to use ozone generator more easily without adding any extra equipment. EOZ-300Y is an ozone unit without air pump. It has an air inlet allowed users to use external air pumps or oxygen tanks to supply gases to it for making ozone gas. It gives users very wide choices for arranging their own air supply systems. By supplying pure oxygen to it, EOZ-300Y can be used for making drinking water.

Q2. We have a couple of dogs that tend to smell a bit. I was wondering if it would work to use your machine for about 5-10 minutes daily to help eliminate the dog smell? Would this harm the health of the dogs (they live indoors) or humans, as I work out of the home do not leave very often? |

There are two ways of using ozone for air purifying.
a. Applying ozone at low ppm ( lower than 0.1 ppm ) for a long period.
According to the safe guide, it is safe for human exposure to ozone under 0.1 ppm within 8 hours. When the mold or odor in your house are not very strong or there is a constant odor source; such as a pet; plants; in your house, you can choose to use this method to your house to keep it in a fresh clean air.
b. High ppm, short time ( higher than 0.1ppm )
When the mold and the odor problem in your house are very serious. You have to ozone shock the house at a higher ppm of ozone. Firstly close windows; push on the machine and then all people and pets leave the house. After about 30 – 60 minutes, come into the house and turn off the machine open windows to let the house ventilated. Stay more 30 minutes outside the house, and then humans and animals can go back into the room.
Pump ozone into water and let dog taking bath by ozone water can reduce its odors. |

Q4. I was wondering what the difference was between these two products for my purposes of air odor control in a 10 x 10 foot room.
1. ENALY OZX-A200B
2. ENALY OZX-300U |

OZX-A200B can be used for air purifying only. OZX-300U can be used either for water purifying or air purifying, but OZX-300U is designed mainly for water purifying.
OZX-A200B has a large air fan and big air inlet/air outlet. It can move the air much easier and quicker spreading ozone to fill up a room. Also, it has 9 different timer modes, which you do not need to switch it off by yourself if you selected an adequate timer mode.
OZX-300U does not have built in timer, so you have to turn it off by your self when the time comes.
If you use the machine for air purifying only, we suggest you chose the OZX-A200B.
