ENGL THUNDER 50W ALL TUBE GUITAR AMPLIFIER!

This amp is in very good condition and in perfect working order. As can be seen in the pictures all lights are working and the tubes are glowing nicely! I have had the amp for 7 months and before that the guy who had it had it for just under a year from new. There are 2 very small tears on the top of the amp but they are barely noticeable as can be seen in the picture.

I have only used it a couple of times for jamming and that is it, so there is plenty of life left in the tubes.

This amp is a great amp!! You can get basically any sound out of this thing from fender like quality cleans right through to brutal gains for metal and heavy rock.
It has 3 channels, clean, crunch (AC/DC style) and lead (Metal riffing, soloing etc.).

You'll see there how good people rate this amp as being, often compared to, or better than 5150's, mesa rectifiers etc. I can also vouch for that, I LOVE the sound out of this amp, I play a variety of styles including heavy rock/metal and the tone that it produces is almost perfect for these styles, as brutal as a 5150, but more sophisticated with a warmer edge to it. I really can't rate the tone quality of this amp enough!!!

Even though it's 50W it is really loud and when running stereo through a quality 4x12 there's more than enough balls for gigging, jamming etc.
Plus it's smaller and lighter than most other heads which is great when transporting it around.

There aren't a huge range of features on the amp but in this case less is more, it's simple, easy to use, without all the features that are hardly ever used on amps with more features anyway. It has Bass, Mid, Treble EQ knobs, gain, crunch and lead volumes and an FX loop with balance pot.dry/effect. It doesn't come with a footswitch for channel control as I never got round to buying one, but I do know thatthey can be bought through Billy Hyde Music.

The only reason I am selling it is that I am moving back to the UK and doing some travelling, otherwise I would definitely be keeping it!!!
