EPI-NO Birth Trainer was developed by a German obstetrician as a home training device used to help reduce the incidence of perineal injuries at childbirth and to condition the pelvic floor muscles in women of all ages.

EPI-NO gently and naturally prepares the muscles and tissues of the birth canal for the physical strain of delivery, reducing the chance of a perineal tear, or the need for an episiotomy during birth.

The EPI-NO Trainer is also designed to speed recovery of the pelvic floor muscles following birth. With minimal inflation, and used in conjunction with pelvic floor (Kegel) exercises, EPI-NO helps you to identify the correct muscle group, and monitor your progress and recovery.
AUSTRALIAN CLINICAL TRIAL     Epi-No Delphine Plus was tested at Box Hill Hospital Melbourne, Victoria.  Epi-No was found to significantly reduce the risk of perineal damage during childbirth for women having their first baby.
This Epi-No has been used, is in excellent condition and was thoroughly sterilised after every use. In addition it was also used with condoms to make clean up even easier.
I only used this less than 5 times as I started late and baby was born early but found that it gave me confidence by giving me an idea of the feeling I would experience. Highly recommend.
The instruction booklet, storage pouch, a few alcohol swabs (for cleaning/sterilisation) and spare condoms are included in this sale.
The Epi-No Delphine Plus is a must for any pregnant woman who wants to try to avoid an episiotomy.
