| We pack and dispatch 99% of items within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment. We often pack and dispatch items same-day. We use professional packing materials and comply with all courier packing guidelines to minimise any chance of damage during shipping.
To fulfil delivery we use a variety of courier services based on your location and the item to be transported. They are all professional services and work to ensure reliability of delivery to you. These include DHL, Fedex, Royal Mail, Courier Systems, Abbey Antiques, Lots2 and others. Our quoted postage & packing charges are not negotiable, they are based on the weight and nature of the item and include:
1. The cost of using a postal service or courier 2. The cost of the packing materials used for the item 3. The cost of staff time taken to pack and ship the item 4. VAT at the current rate
If you buy several items at the same time we can usually offer a discount on the combined shipping charge. There are a few instances where this is not possible due to the size or nature of the items. Buyers are responsible for any local taxes and import duties associated with shipping outside the UK. |

Q1: Can I collect my item? A: Yes. All items can be collected in person from our warehouse. Q2: Is there a charge for collections? A: Yes, £3.00 per item. Q3: Why is there a charge for collections? A: Arranging collections takes up staff time. We provide on-site parking & loading assistance. It does not include any packaging (time or materials). Q4: Can I pay cash on collection? A: Yes. But we need payment within 7 days so please collect promptly. Q5: Where do I collect from? A: Unless stated in the listing all collections are from our Park Royal warehouse: Unit 8, Commercial Way, Abbey Road, London, NW10 7XF. Q6: When can I collect? A: Collections are by appointment only during normal office hours (10am-5.30pm Monday-Friday excluding Bank Holidays). We are closed at weekends. We do need at least 24 hours notice of your arrival to ensure your item is ready for you. Q7: Are you in the congestion zone? A: No. Q8: How long do I have to collect my item? A: 7 days from the auction ending. Q9: What happens after 7 days? A: We can store your item, but there is a charge for this of £25 per item per week (or part thereof). |

| We happily accept the following payment methods:
1. PayPal. We prefer PayPal. We do not pass on PayPal fees to customers. 2. Cheques or Postal Orders. Sterling cheques drawn on a UK bank account or UK postal orders. 3. Cash on collection. We accept cash on collection within 7 days of the auction ending. 4. UK bank transfers (BACS or CHAPS). Please contact us for our bank details. 5. Banker's drafts. We accept banker's drafts drawn on a UK bank account.
We do not accept any forms of payment other than those above. In particular, we do not accept:
1. Money transfers of any kind. 2. Credit cards. Please use your credit card to fund a PayPal account and pay using that method. |
In the unlikely event there is a problem with your item we are always happy to investigate and resolve issues. We are polite and cooperative and we ask that our customers treat us in the same way. We have a generous returns and refunds policy:
1. 7-day window. Claims for returns & refunds can be made for up to 7 days from receipt. 2. Material difference. Refunds are always processed where an item, on leaving our warehouse, materially differs from that outlined in our listing. By material difference we mean a clear listing error, or misrepresentation, which materially affects the item's value. 3. Refund process. Refunds are issued once an item has been returned and checked/tested. Where we have made an error, we will process a full refund. We may pay your return postage costs but we are not obliged to do this. We can only refund return postage charges authorised by us. 4. Limited liability. Without exception, our liability is strictly limited to the price paid for the item. |
