  RARE WAR-TIME 1940's  100% COTTON flanelette FABRIC

Country Estate find

 A large lot in two pieces measuring 76cms wide -  5 x metres and 10 metres

Weighing over 2 kilos

A fabulous rare quality natural cotton flanelette

Stamped in blue, as pictured

Wm Hollins Day & Night Wear William Hollins & Co. Ltd, All cotton. I think this is made in england...

This type of fabric was used for nightwear, under garments, warm cosy baby clothes, bed linen, pillow slips.

Amazing find.

Dates 1930's - 40's.

In lovely clean condition, never used, well stored for decades and no bad smells. Very fresh considering age, it's spotless.

For the sewing enthusiast or textile collector.

Buyer will be very pleased with this quality fabric from the past.

Postage sydney metro areas only $8.00 boxed, other areas please ask before bidding, this does not fit into a $9.90 post bag and needs to be boxed, weighed and measured for accurate postage.

Postage correction: This fabric is too large to put into a $9.90 large post sachel. I thought it would fit but it's just a bit to tight. It can be posted in a box to sydney metro areas for only $7.80. Melbourne for example is $12.40..other areas please ask before bidding. It weighs over 2 kilos and box dimensions are 25 x 25 x 25.
