Moulded fibreglass construction
Extremely strong & light , can even be used as a seat. The box itself has a high gloss skin which has the ability to reflect heat and also makes it extremely easy to clean. Just use warm soapy water and all smells are washed away (incl fish and spilt milk). With the inner and outer skins it means no joints and no where to house bacteria.
Insulation
Evakool® Polyal-ISO SPF is used which is a high density refrigeration foam. It has been specially developed by the manufacturers and Evakool and it is not available to anyone else. The weather will not trouble this fridge as at 43oC this fridge still runs at -19oC which is a 63oC difference (independent test done on RF47).

Useful Tips and Suggestions For better performance of your Ice Box
You will get 3 to 10 days of use from ice with your Ice Box if you follow some of these tips:
GENERAL USE:
When not in use, store your icebox with the lid part open and the bung loose, this will allow the icebox to "breathe".
The day before loading, put ice into the icebox to cool down the walls.
Put frozen and/or cold product into the icebox as this will increase the life of the ice.
Organise the product in your IceKool to ensure that you do not have to keep the lid open longer than necessary.
Top up with ice and leave for an hour or so. Shake the icebox to allow ice to compact with product and drain any water through the bung. Re-top up the ice in the box to reduce the amount of air space in the icebox.
Always refasten the lid on the icebox to ensure that the seal is maintained. Open your icebox the least amount of times possible.
Always keep your IceKool in the shadiest, coolest spot. Covering the icebox will definitely help.
ICE MANAGEMENT
Ice quality is extremely important. Well "cured" ice, which has been kept at low temperatures in a freezer, should be used.
Block ice lasts longer than broken/crushed ice.
You can create your own block ice by freezing drinking water in plastic bottles which becomes a valuable source of ice cold fresh drinking water.
Always ensure the bung is correctly screwed back on.
The recommended ratio of ice to product in an Icebox is approximately 1/3 ice to 2/3 product by volume.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE:
Always wash your IceKool with warm soapy water.
Do not use solvents or other chemicals.
Dry the walls after washing.
Use a shaped piece of polyurethane to create separate areas in your (suggestion).
Your icebox is strong enough to be used as a seat or a great standing box to look over others at sporting events etc.
FIVE YEAR WARRANTY
The icebox range of ice boxes carry a five (5) year warranty.
The warranty is backed by EvaKool's Australia wide reputation.
The warranty covers all aspects of workmanship, finish and joinery, including handles, feet, hinges and bungs.

The fault occurs under normal circumstances during normal use.
The fault is found to be caused by defective or faulty materials, workmanship or manufacturing process.

If the product has to be returned, it should, whenever possible, be returned in its original carton or alternatively in suitable packing so as to prevent damage.
