DESCRIPTION: These 800 illustrations were collected from a variety of sources. Areal attempt was made to find material that had not been reprinted in this century. The fine magazines published for both adults and children during the latter part of the 19th century and early 20th century carried the bulk of the illustrations used. The illustrators represented on these pages make up a who’s who of turn of the century talent. The uses of this book are as varied as the illustrators contained within. It is useful to the student of illustration and the advertising artist. This book may not be produced in its entirety.

CONDITION OF BOOK: The book with pictorial soft covers is in good condition, with rubbing to surface and edges with some bumps to corners and edges and readers creases including the spine(there are 2 creases at the top of the spine consistent with being dropped) .The front cover has a large crease from the top right hand corner to the middle which has caught the first few pages as well, also bottom right hand corner has a bump consistent with being dropped that has also caught the first few pages. The spine and pages are tight; the pages are in good condition with age browning to pages and page edges. There are no inscriptions in the book.
