Inviting all interior designers, antique collectors, gallery owners and lovers of fine quality antique pottery.

On offer are these pair of exquisite late 19th century (around 1870-1880 era) French hand made and hand carved genuine pottery dual handled vases.

These vases are the genuine articles and are of the highest quality which you would expect to find in any high end antique dealer or gallery. Hand made from earthenware clay pottery, the floral deco on has been hand carved leaving the patterns raised about 1mm. They have lovely spiral handles with bold leaf ends, wide hexagon base with floral wreath band and leafed top borders.

The vases were independently valued about a year ago at between $600 to $800AUD a pair.

They are a matching pair and each measures an impressive 51cm(20 inches) tall x 36cm(14.2 inches) wide from handle to handle.

They are both in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no scratches or any other damage including any previous restoration.

They are finished in a lovely bronze brown semi mat glazing. There are no identifying makers mark or any other markings on them which was normal for its era.

They are rather heavy pieces as you would expect from genuine pottery with each weighing at 4.8kg's (combined weight 9.6kg's not including any packaging. When posted each vase will have to be boxed separately due to their large size and weight so please be advised these vases cannot be combined packaged and each will probably weigh around 6.5kg's when boxed.

Due to their size and weight pick up is available for these vases from Melbourne, otherwise postage within Australia will be made via private courier which is faster and safer, vases are too large for Aust.Post.
