UTTERLY EXQUISITE Old Ornate Filigree Hand Painted Box




PLEASE NOTE I will be unable to access my computer for a couple of days during this auction but all questions will be answered well before the end of the auction.

The exquisite detail in this divine box just blew me away when I found it. Every detail is just amazing from the beautiful hand painted scene on the lid to the layers of ormolu filigree work and the freize round the base. I could go on and on about this divine box but please check out the pictures to show you exactly how utterly gorgeous it is. I looked at the scene on the top with a loupe and I am sure its handpainted and not a print. It is marked Made in Italy on the base. I am not sure of the age of this one it is in the style of an very early trinket box I bought it in an upmarket antique store and they had it listed as antique so I am going with that but please ask questions if you need more information. . It stands 7.5cm high x 10cm x 8cm. There are no problems at all to report with this darling.
