This set of high quality earphones uses the most common industry standard 3.5mm earphones plug which is the plug most commonly used by mp3 players and computer sound card ports.

When we had to decide between appearance and sound quality, we chose superior sound quality.
This is a very advanced pair of D.B.B (Deep Bass Boost) Stereo earphones (or headphones as some people may call it). These earphones are designed to enhance the bass (low frequency) Midrange and High Frequency (treble) audio waves, allowing you to hear very deep, clear and sharp sound if you place the smaller ends into your ears (The larger end produces audio output averaged towards the mid range and high range treble). This pair comes with rubber ear caps to secure them firmly in place in your ears and sponge caps for the other end. The caps can be adjusted at the D.B.B output side. The earphones are made of metal and are stylishly tinted over in either of two colours (See the technical details for the colour on auction) ,

In our opinion, these earphones have an extremely good ability to reproduce sound, particularly deep bass frequencies. As far as earphones go, it's the best we've had sampled so far, and we've sampled quite a few from leading brands that come by default with many Mp3 players. If not the best at its price, its probably 2nd to none. This model of earphones have greatly exceeded our expectations and honestly, we have never looked back or searched for a better pair ever since we got these.

To get the best experience from these earphones, please have a look at some of the tips that we've included further down in this advertisement. For example, we strongly recommend you utilise hardware equalizers to feel the really high level of bass level that these earphones can reach. The normal settings on soundcards and mp3 players just don't usually do this earphones justice ! You won't hear it at its full potential unless you utilize enhancements. (like the saying goes, if a music player is terrible, you'll usually get terrible sound quality even if you use the worlds best earphones) We have even pre-enhanced one music file just for you to try out (further down).

But thats not the best part; We used a hardware equaliser with a High Definition sound card from the Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard to increase the Low and High frequencies for the most remarkable audio experience, These earphones could reach Bass levels that many other headphones including Sony's MDR-CD270 Dynamic stereo headphones had trouble reaching without fading in strength due to the power required for bass output.

This earphones use super magnets and are very expensive and are not the free earphones that come with Mp3 players or the type you find for anywhere in stores for under $10.00, so we're starting our bids at around that price. If your not satisfied after purchasing it, please let us know. Unless you are comparing the deep bass output, this earphones are on par or slightly better than other high end NdFeb earphones like those that may come with iPods etc, as they are also high quality earphones (We think this earphones have better bass though due to the acoustic design and construction.)

If there is any type of earphone that could surpass this model, we think it would have be the NdFeB Noise Reduction earphones or earphones with triple magnets built in, but whether they are really effective considering if triple voice cones for various frequencies even make any difference at such a small size, those are very expensive and might be dangerous if you need your sense of hearing around you; eg: a car or truck horn, (or your boss screaming at you).

This earphone set can be used in many portable music players, devices, laptops, computers and radios that utilise the 3.5mm headphone plug. They should fit well with the iPod and iPod Nano as well, as they support the 3.5mm headphone plug. (note: some rare devices take the 2.5mm diameter plug, of which a simple adapter can be purchased at low cost in most electronic stores or online at eBay).

We don't recommend you judge these earphones based on what you hear, but compare them to another set of earphones you have, because no matter how good the earphones are, if your sound card, mp3 file or mp3 player is of low quality, your output will be of low quality too, so it is safer to compare them with earphones playing the same music piece / music file from the same music player.

Unexpected Sound Level Boost: We underestimated these earphones when we first tested them. When switching from our old non DBB, non NdFeb earphones, we never expected an increase of over 300%++ in audio volume with these new earphones due to their power efficiency... Don't make this mistake and start from ZERO volume and work your way up when you first use these earphones, or you could hurt your ears.

Health Experts say permanent damage is said to occur to the ears if continuous audio exposure occurs at anything at 85dB for 8 hours. At 88dB, 4 hours will do damage, and at 91dB, 2 hours is enough to do permanent damage. It is well known that prolonged exposure to loud noise is causes a biochemical reaction that damages the ears. This mechanism however is said to be currently poorly understood by researchers and scientists.

For the Best Audio experience, we can recommend you set the equalizer to these settings below to get the best sound quality from the earphones. If your card has environmental effects (eg: Arena / Auditorium, it can enhance audio output even further by creating a surround sound effect). If you have a lower performance equalizer, you may wish to use smaller intervals eg: 10dB instead of 20dB. (This equalizer settings may vary based on soundcard. This is based on our experience only. Adjust them to suit your preference for your particular hardware)

Note: Purely Software based equalizers like those inside Windows Media player or Winamp DO NOT do the job well. The Media based equalizers only modifies the sound file, so if you set it the bass too high, the soundcard doesn't help it and it cuts/clips off at a certain level and sound goes missing, making the quality horrible as no additional power is diverted from the soundcard for bass increases. Instead of raise the bass and treble bars, just leave them at midline and lower the rest and increase the volume... It will achieve roughly the same effect as the hardware equalizer but at a softer volume.

We think its much better to use Hardware/ Soundcard equalizers, such as those provided with your sound card / motherboard manufacturer, ie: SoundMax, Santacruz, X3D, AC97 etc etc as they actually regulate and provide EXTRA power to the output that goes to your earphones, so the quality isn't usually affected when you raise bass levels really high.

An EXTREMELY Important factor for all EARPHONE users is Ambient Effects. Ever wonder why? CD music and various songs in their natural state are often tailored for use on a home theatre system and deliberately do not add surround sound effects. Why? because if the ambient effects were added to the file in the natural state, home theatre users will get far excessive echoing, so the audio studios lets the end user add it by themselves. Therefore, what really should sound like a rolling thunder clap to the distance might just sound like a very powerful thump on some earphones. Therefore, for a truly breathtaking Live Arena / Concert Experience, always remember to utilise your soundcard's Ambient effects. Common ones include "Arena, Hall, Auditorium, Concert hall and Hangar, which is available in most soundcards like: SoundMax, Santacruz, Realtek, X3D, AC97 and many others.

However if you don't have a soundcard that does that, you can download the DFX Audio Enhancer software which can produce HD like quality even in laptops built 8 years ago. We use it personally and set both the Fidelity and Ambience to Level 9. The experience is similar to having a live concert hall to yourself with the band or singer singing live in front of you. How do i use it?

The cable can be locked at any of 6 lengths very easily.

First and foremost, Do Not hold onto the reel while pulling on the wire. Let the reel 'float' freely.

Lets begin by extending the cable:

Hold onto the 3.5mm golden plug with one hand, and use your other hand to hold onto the earpieces. Now pull them apart till the cable is at the desired length and slowly bring the plug and the earpieces together. It will quickly auto lock at the first available lock point, and you no longer have to keep pulling to keep it at that length. The cable will remain at that length without any rubber band effect.

You can leave the earphones extended indefinately for use with computer systems etc. .

If you wish to store the earphones, you should retract the cable to prevent it from getting entangled..

To retract the cable, simply hold the earpieces with one hand and the plug with the other hand and pull them apart slightly till you will hear a click which indicates it has unlocked. Then controllably bring the plug and the earpieces together and the winding mechanism will automatically retract the cable back to zero length. Do it at a safe speed: 1 second is slow enough to prevent unnecessary damage to the cable; don't let it 'snap' back). We also recommend you leave it locked at the shortest available length (2cm)instead at absolute zero length; this prevents it from pulling on the cable, and will help extend the cable's lifespan.

Question: Is this earphone output similar to a genine lPod earphone set?
Answer: We honestly think it is slightly better when we actually compared it side to side with one that came with an l-Pod nano, but since then, newer models of earphones may have be introduced (as there are various models) and therefore, we can't say exactly which model it is better than because there are quite a few out there now.

Question: If it is dual sided outputs, does it disturb other people next to me when i am using them at office or on the train?
Answer:The audio dispersion by the larger (non DBB) end is quite high due to the design, meaning it is rather unlikely to disturb people next to you unless they are too close. If the output sounds normal to you at the DBB end when in your ears, the sound at the other end will be less noticeable, due to pressure differences (if you cover the DBB end while listening to the non DBB end, you'll notice a instant drop in sound volume/quality) The acoustic design favours a cone shape to disperse sound waves in two directions, hence allowing it to be used on both sides. One end outputs softer, calmer (non concentrated) audio which fades and disperses with distance, while the other end provides concentrated, and hence high quality immersive sound, and its dangerously powerful. This set of earphones is designed for maximum focused power at the DBB end which is many orders of magnitude louder than the other end (relative to your ear canal), So if someone sitting next to you can hear any significant amount of noise coming from the larger end, the volume is far too loud and is likely damaging for your ears.

Question: My earphones keep falling out of my ears!
Answer: There are 4 common solutions, the first failsafe method is to clip the reel to your shirt using a clip (like the ones we have); this reduces the weight of the reel pulling on your earphones (you can get the clip directly from us when you purchase the earphones). The 2nd option involves using use the smaller end of the earphones (which you should be using anyway for best effect), and making sure the rubber bits are extended outwards and not forced backwards into the earphones;-the earphones are more secure this way. The third option involves using a office clip binder to hold the cable itself in place. Alternatively, you can purchase an earphone extension cable (like the ones we sell) or position your mp3 player or device higher up on your body nearer to your ears so that the weight of the reel doesn't hold the earpieces down.
