Amazing German Brass Carriage Clock with Music Scroll Chime
This lot is for an early 20th c. brass Gernman carriage clock with beautiful roman numeral face, sweeping secand hand and alarm dial. The face is paper and shows some sign of age. It is in very nice complete condition, but I can not keep it ticking (a sign that it just needs to be cleaned). I have checked on the scroll and see that all the teeth are present and the melody is quite pretty, though I can't place it. The glass is original and the exterior steel has very little spotting. There is a slot on the inside of the door for the original key, though this is not present. It is stamped on the inside "made in Germany" and has a makers stamp on the face. I can include a key upon YOUR request. This is not a problem, I'm just limited on my clock keys so I send a key upon request. 5.25" x 4" x 6.5" Made of Brass, Chromed Steel and Glass it is a nice decorative piece as well. ~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you for considering this item.
