2 very early AUSTRALIAN vintage 1920's/30's GLUCODIN and ACTA-VITE empty tins. GOOD CONDITION.
Firstly, I don't know a single thing about vintage tins - the ACTA-VITE tin I saw on eBay as being 1930's era, that's all I know. The GLUCODIN tin looks older & earlier - as it is very plain, with simple understated typography, not what you would expect in an era exposed to the world of 'advertising'.
These are OLD pieces and....look old!
The pictures say more than I can as to condition and I've tried to use a decent amount of images to give you a really thorough look at them.
ACTA-VITE tin is a LARGE SIZE (contains 40oz) and was manufactured in Melbourne as it reads 'PROPRIETARY LIMITED MELBOURNE' and 'A NICOLAS PRODUCT'.
GLUCODIN is made by Glaxo Laboratories in Melbourne/Sydney - Contents 1lb nett.
Some scratches on GLUCODIN lid and Acta-Vite lid has 'CHOC' scratched on it.
Some dents on Acta-Vite lid but tin looks really great. I thinks these just show expected wear-and-tear as you would expect for such old, throw-away items.
