Electric Bicycles (Moped & Retro Styling) start with an adult-sized Electric Bicycle frame with air-filled tires - and add an auxiliary motor and battery. Being more feature rich (lights, instrumentation, storage compartments, pillion/passenger seat, Hub drum brakes, dual shock absorber suspension, etc) than E-bikes, E-Mopeds are more fun, stylish and adventurous. Speed and range can vary dramatically based on riders weight, riding style, terrain and conditions. Expect a Max of ~26-30Kph on the flat with a rider weighing ~110Kg. Less weight, marginally higher speed and range. Range varies from 50Km to 60Km+ . When E-Moped range increases, so does weight, with Max speed marginally decreased. Use more advanced batteries for more greater range without performance loss (NimH or LiOn). 

Our Compact Models suit a medium adult and a Light weight Pillion rider. With lockable storage compartments for groceries or other items they are very handy indeed. With an auxiliary electric motor limited to 200Watts they are a bicycle and can be used and ridden anywhere an ordinary bicycle can.

Ruggedly built, high quality E-Mopeds.   Ideal for short-medium commutes, transit trips, errands, local shopping ... a real substitute for the car/motorbike or alternative to the inconvenience of Public transport for those short trips/commutes ... or just tell the teenagers to 'Go Ride there yourself ... !'  ?

NOTE: Free delivery is only available to buyers within 35Km of our Melton address.

Delivery beyond 35Km or Country/Regional Victoria (Only) (outside Melbourne Metro Region) is available at additional frieght/handling charge. Calculated at the flat rate of 0.75 Cents per Kilometre (round trip) to your destination. Distance is adjudged as that displayed on Google Maps or Whereis 'Get Directions'. The maximum delivery charge is capped at $120.00

Such deliveries are by appointment only, are primarily available on Saturdays/Sundays and includes 100% assembled delivery, 'Ready to Go', and 30-60 minutes tuition/training.

Delivery to locations outside of Victoria (Interstate), buyer is to arrange at own expense. We will deliver to a nominated frieght/transport depot. Please note, the Electric Moped is 100% assembled and tested. For interstate shipping, they are then partly disassembled and secured in a steel framed shipping crate ... therefore we cannot accept any liability for damage in transit, where we do not deliver direct (Victoria), or after delivery to a Depot for transport arranged by customer. A $75 handling and packaging fee is required for crating and despatch to a Melbourne metro Depot.
