Folding E-Bikes have significant advantages: less weight, more efficient with multi speed bicycle gears, take 'em on public transport (in a reinforced carry bag), and they can more easily conquer killer hills when your pedalling is combined with the assistance of the auxiliary electric motor. Speed and range can vary dramatically based on riders weight, riding style, terrain and conditions. Expect a Max of ~26Kph on the flat with a rider weighing ~80Kg. Less weight means marginally higher speed and range. Range up to ~25-35Km+ (SLA Model). Upgrade to 14A batteries on the SLA model. When E-Bike range increases, so does weight, with Max speed marginally decreased. Use more advanced batteries for greater range without performance loss (NimH or LiOn).

All sales are final, no refunds or returns unless manufacture faults and/or functional damage is evident. Exchange of a 'manufacturers fault' defective item is to be claimed within 7 days of delivery. No returns accepted without first obtaining an RMA number. Seller, at its sole discretion, will determine the eligibility of an item for return. Any item accepted for return will incur a minimum 20% re-stocking fee.
Seller is not responsible for any damage caused by improper misuse or assembly or attempted repair or maintenance of item. Seller, at its sole discretion, will refuse to accept for return any item assessed as subjected to negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect or normal wear and tear. Battery pack, Batteries, Motor Controller and Battery Charger are warranted for 90 days.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including, without limitation, cables, switches, light bulbs, fuses, hoses, brake pads, inner tubes and tyres.

Electric or motor assisted bicycles can be great for people who need a bit of extra help to get up hills or carry a heavy load of groceries home. They are particularly useful for people with arthritic knees or other physical constraints that can restrict cycling opportunities on an ordinary bike. Power assisted bikes with a power output of less than 200 watts are defined as bikes and covered by the same road rules as ordinary bikes.
Each state & territory government of Australia has reference to Power Assisted Bicycle's within their transport departments website. All indicate the requirement that maximum power output must be less than 200Watts.
