On offer today, I have this highly collectable Salt and Pepper pair by Ellis Pottery Australia.
Slightly taller, Salt stands at 11 cm (4.5"). Pepper stands at 10 cm (4")and is a darker shade of yellow. Combined weight is 600 gr (20 oz).
The condition of each shaker is very good, though salt has a chip where the brown meets the yellow (pic 2). There is also a tiny chip in the base at the rim (Pic 3). Pepper also has a small flake at the yellow/brown join (pic 5), and another chip at the fill hole (pic 6). Peppers cork stopper has disintegrated and pieces are inside the shaker. The base shows the maker's mark and the numbers 465 (pic 4 & 7).
You simply must have this delightful and unusual pair, so bid now!
