Elvis Presley Unused 1977 Concert Ticket with COA + Death Newspaper

Item for Bid is an Original Unused Elvis Presley Concert Ticket & Original Newspaper from August 1977 Detailing his Death.

The Ticket was for the Scheduled August 28th 1977 Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis Tennessee Performance.

Sadly Elvis Died on August 16th and the 12 scheduled perfomances for August were all cancelled.

The 12 Concerts starting at Portland Maine on August 17th (&18th) and continuing to New York (19th,20th,22nd), Connecticut (21st), Kentucky (23rd), Virginia (24th) & North Carolina (25th,26th) before finishing with two shows at Memphis Tennessee (27th,28th) would have been the first leg of what some viewed as another Elvis Comeback. Unfortunately for Elvis Fans, the King Passed away before any of these concerts took place.  

 The Ticket comes in protective sleeve with Certificate of Authenticity.

It is Guaranteed to be Authentic and is NOT A REPRODUCTION

 

The Newspaper is the Memphis Press-Scimitar, August 17th 1977, the morning that the world learned of Elvis' Passing.

The Newspaper has some yellowing as to be expected and overall is in Excellent condition for it's age.

The Newspaper is the Original 1977 print and is NOT A REPRINT
