This kit contains everything you'll need to start painting with wax.

It includes and iron, stylus, 16 waxes (starter), 25 A4, 50 A6 card , scribing tool and Michael Bossom's  How To Paint With Wax book.

Encaustic Art involves painting with coloured beeswax using hot tools. The wax is melted on the base of a hot iron, then applied to paper. The painting is then developed by adding extra details with the iron or by scratching or scraping the wax, revealing the white card underneath. The results created by the iron are unpredictable, making each painting unique and impossible to duplicate.
