This is a superb vintage Dressing table set that just has everything going for it! The uniqueness of its ‘Oriental’ Japanese inspired theme- its condition- and its completeness- no less than six pieces to this quality set from English makers ‘REGENT – OF LONDON’ Two boxes a divided trinket box with wooden liner and a powder? box- a hand mirror, a candlestick with pin dish incorporated into its base, a tray and brush- as shown. The quality throughout- including the fine ormolu metal filigree work is simply first rate as shown. The printed scenes are beautifully achieved in two layers giving a translucent and ethereal effect- all richly augmented in gold outlines and details. Just magical in effect and easily the nicest set I've offered.

Condition as you see- for a practical set of vanity items, clearly of genuine vintage, is terrific as shown. The protective vinyl is lifting from the corner of the rectangular box- as shown fairly below- however by and large the set remains in wonderful shape. The brush is neat and intact, the original bevelled edged mirror free of markings from behind as can happen. Some sagging to a red velvet lining the underside of some pieces- inconsequential as shown.
