English Solid Oak Tudor Reproduction Dining Suite

This suite is high-end quality and was purchased new 22 years ago in England.  It was manufactured by an old established company called Wood Bros, who continue to manufacture top quality furniture today.  The furniture looks as good as when purchased with the exception of the seat upholstery on a couple of the chairs, which the purchaser may decide to recover.

Our family has grown and moved out and we wish to turn our dining room into a large office and so the suite has to go; hopefully to an appreciative home.  My wife and I will be sad to part with the suite but life changes and time moves on.

The furniture is reproduction antique and was finished with a "distressed" look.  It was deliberately stressed at time of manufature to give it the antique look.  The result, is a lovely aged, "warm" set of furniture with lots of charm.  The table top was repolished a year ago to remove a faint water mark.

Please note that the colour differences in the photos are due to lighting conditions only.  The actual colour is rich medium-dark oak and is probably best represented by photo number 10.

The suite is part of the "Old Charm" furniture range and I have included a page from Wood Bros catalogue as at the date of purchase.  It will be noted that the carving and polishing was by hand.  Wood Bros furniture is cherished by its owners and there is a Wood Bros Collectors Club, which has been established for over 70 years and boasts a membership of over 80,000.
