This cactus flowers every spring and has beautiful red flowers changing to purple in the centres.The flowers measure up to 23cms.across with iridescent waxy petals.The flowers appear along the edge of the leaves and last for up to three days.The leaves are flat wih no spines at all.It looks great in a hanging basket or quite happy in a large pot.It likes a loose composty soil but not too dry, and occasional fertiliser feeds.The plant for auction is approx.30 cms .high and will be well packed in spaghnum moss for postage.Sorry, no postage to N.T.,W.A., or Tasmania.
