This auction is for a very pleasant period etching of two King Charles Spaniels. It has the inscription engraved on the plate margin;- " Leon Richton after Sir E. Landseer RA ", It is a typical sentiental animal subject by Sir Edwin Landseer and I would estimate that the date is late Victorian. The image size is:- 6.5 x 8.5 inches ( 165 mm x 215 mm ), It has complete margins ( not shown in photo' ) and overall size is:- 12.5 x 17.5 inches ( 316 mm x 445 mm ). Condition is very good.
