THIS IS MY PERSONAL BABY THAT I SPENT A FORTUNE ON TO GET HER TO BE THE BEST BLUES DELUXE POSSIBLE, I AM REALLY AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR PLAYER AND JUST WENT A LITTLE CRAZY AND SPENT MUCH TOO MUCH ON THIS BABY, SO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THEIR AMPS WILL GET A BARGAIN HERE AND AN AMAZING AMP...GOOD LUCK Original Fender Tweed Blues Deluxe. Made in the US. Used for less than 30 minutes then packed back into its original box where it has lived for over 12 years, then I unpacked her and had her completely suped up firstly with a Jensen special vintage speaker, then I replaced the cabinet for a solid wood one with dovetail joints it is built by the same company that builds Victoria amp cabinets in the USA this amp is absolutely Mint. The cabinet and speaker make this sound so much better that a standard Blues deluxe with their eminence speaker and their chipboard cabinet, there just is no comparison ALSO COMES WITH A SET OF BRAND NEW BOXED FENDER GT GHROOVE TUBES I still have the original fender name plate and the model and serial number plate that this amp originally came with, and the buyer gets these as well This amp was one of the last built in the USA from 1995 It sounds delicious. It comes with its Original Footswitch, Original Fender Cover, and hang tags, this amp is 40 Watts of pure, warm Fender tone. The
Fender Blues Deluxe offers classic Fender looks and bluesy sound with
useful modern features. For years, the choice of professional musicians
has been Fender vintage amplifiers because of their incredibly warm
tone and dynamic performance characteristics. Due to the channel
switching possibilities in this amplifier, the Fender Blues Deluxe is
really two vintage amps in one. The "NORMAL" channel is based on the
original tweed BASSMAN circuit of the late 1950's and is capable of
delivering every performance characteristic you would expect of that
type of amplifier. Even the "Bright" inputs of the BASSMAN have been
accommodated by incorporating a bright switch that adds the familiar
vintage "sparkle".This Amp was bought in 1995 and used for less than 30 minutes then packed back into its original box where it `lived until it was turned into a super amp, This Amp is as Mint as the day it was built it comes with its original Fender Cover, and Fender Foot switch............I am asking top dollar for this and therefore realise that it will not appeal to everyone however I know the right person who will appreciate this piece is out there just waiting for this amp. The "DRIVE" channel shares the same tone controls as the NORMAL channel but has separate "Drive" and "Master" controls. Using the "Drive" control, the overdrive sound of this channel can be set anywhere from clean and almost identical to the "NORMAL" channel to the sweet, singing, "on ten" BASSMAN sound. The "Master" control can then be used to adjust the overall loudness of this tone. The "DRIVE" channel allows you to have gain and sustain without getting evicted from your neighborhood, or it can be used to supply that extra edge for a solo. The Fender Blues Deluxe features a single 12" vintage re-issue "gold label" speaker. The Fender Blues Deluxe also provides the lush REVERB typical of the Fender Reverb Unit that is commonly used with BASSMAN amplifiers. Preamp Out and Power Amp In jacks provide a signal path for an endless supply of effects devices. Further, using the Preamp Out Jack the Fender Blues Deluxe's preamp signal can be sent to an additional guitar power amp, mixing console, etc. Note that if you wish to silence the power amp in the Fender Blues Deluxe while doing this, you need to insert a shorting plug into the Power Amp In jack. Also, the Fender Blues Deluxe's power amp can be used by another preamp by sending a signal from that preamp to the Fender Blues Deluxe's Power Amp In jack. The 40 Watt tube power amplifier is derived from the BASSMAN and uses a 12AX7A driver for that renowned vintage "soft clip" when the power amplifier is overdriven. The Fender Blues Deluxe consists of a rear-loaded chrome chassis, "Oxblood" grille cloth over the speaker baffle and a cabinet covered in real vintage tweed. Real tweed is used because it's tough and it stands up to travel on the road, just like the amps themselves. The selection of a Fender amplifier will reward you with years of quality performance and a wide range of musical sounds. The built-in quality of a Fender amplifier is the result of over four decades of dedication and the combined research and development skills of musicians and engineers.Word on the vintage gear market is that these USA built blues deluxe amps are the sleeper amps that are becoming the next big collectible as it was the first Fender "reissue" that they got right, these 1990's Deluxe amps were built in the USA not Mexico like the new re-issues, and you can definitely tell the difference, they are in my opinion the best amp Fender has built since the 50's. Here is some info from the web on this great amp In 1993, Fender released the 'Tweed' series amps to great success and acclaim. The concept: what if a great old collectible 1950s Deluxe or Bassman was customized with channel switching and Reverb The Blues Deluxe and Blues DeVille were launched as vintage-styled tube amps with 'boutique' tone at mass-produced prices, and many pro players in the rock, country, and blues fields used them with great results. After a few years, the Blues Deluxe and Blues DeVille were reborn as the Hot Rod Deluxe and Hot Rod DeVille, when they received modified circuitry, a third -More Drive channel, and Black/Silver cosmetic treatment. Though the Hot Rod series amps are more popular than ever today, increasing numbers of enthusiasts continue to request the warm tone, unique circuitry, features and look of the original versions. These 'Reissue' models will be offered in addition to the Hot Rods. The Blues Deluxe Reissue produces 40 watts into a single 12" Special Design speaker by Eminence. Features: 3 12AX7 preamp tubes and 2 6L6 output tubes.
