The FERRET KINGDOM, which is exclusive to Puppy Power, is the most versatile and innovative small animal home in the Australian market. It is truly in a class of its own and is a KINGDOM in its own right! It will provide the ultimate accommodation for your ferret or rat family and has been created to cater to your fury friends every need. Our Ferret Kingdom will make a perfect home for Ferrets, Rats, Birds, *Cats & Kittens and can be used as a bird cage suitable for Small Birds, Large Birds and Parrots (providing they are tame an pose no flight risk as the doors on this cage open fully).
The Ferret Kingdom can comfortably house up to six ferrets. The cage bar spacing is 1.25cm making it an ideal residence for rats. It has 2 deep trays (to help keep pet waste inside of the cage) which slide out completely for easy cleaning and 2 large platforms which are lined with heavy duty polypropylene. Two polar fleece hammocks are included which are a perfect size for ferrets (additional hammocks sold separately) and can be positioned anywhere within the cage.
The Ferret Kingdom™ features 2 large living quarters which can be easily separated by blocking off the ramp access between the levels. The middle section can removed (left out during assembly) to create one very spacious cage - making it suitable for cats and kittens, large birds and parrots (tame birds only who pose no flight risk).
Our fabulous FERRET KINGDOM comes with 3 ladders - 1 per level which lead up to the large platforms, plus 1 ladder / ramp which leads to the upper level via a corner cutout in the middle shelf / tray.
The two large, full height doors can be opened easily giving complete access to the cage. This makes cleaning a breeze. Alternatively, if you only require limited access e.g. replacing food and water, you can open one side of the cage only.

By popular demand and customer feedback we now have extra parts available for sale including: additional platforms, hammocks, ladders, extra trays (middle tray with corner cut out and full size lower tray) and plastic liners which sit on the platforms (set of 2) which can be purchased separately. It's great to have at least one set of back up trays and plastic platform liners, leaving you free to clean them at your own leisure and eliminating the need to remove your pet/s from their comfortable and secure home environment when cleaning these parts. An external ramp is also available which you can attach or remove at own leisure to allow your fury friend to climb in and out of the cage without requiring your assistance. The ramp runs from the lower section of the cage to ground level.

* Please note: this cage is only suitable for small / slender cats and kittens in its pictured form. To accomodate large cats you may need to remove the middle section as large cats may not be able to squeeze through the hole between the two levels which measures 22cm x 15cm.
