This is a superb

VINTAGE

SIGNAL FLAG

In my estimation it dates from around the mid 20th Century, circa 1940, but please make up your own mind about this.

IT IS HUGE!

The flag measures approx 65 inches (1650mm) long and 42 inches ( 110mm) tall and is made from cotton panels stitched together, with brass attachment points.

It is a maritime signal flag and stands for

YES, and the LETTER C

It is in good overall condition, with a couple of grimy patches on the canvas strip, but no major damage. (see photos) .

This is a fine example of its type and it would make a great addition to any collection.
