The rug is a stunning Silk and Wool Mahi Tabriz, one of the finest weaves we stock. Highly desirable and collectable. This rug represents over a year of weaving time. This rug is an excellent example of its type. The intricately woven design is sometimes called a Herati Mahi or sometimes called the Fish design. The central medallion and the beautiful detailed silk inlayed flowers are amazing.

The colours are well balanced. Most desirable and ideal for a dining or living room. Master Weaves of this quality are highly collectible and in high demand, the size is particularly uncommon. This rug will serve the owner well for many years.
