The original Fisher Bullet Pens were designed almost 60 years ago, in 1948 to be exact.

The Fisher bullet shaped pen is the most popular Fisher Space Pen today. Because of its shape and size it fits perfectly in your pocket and you can always carry it with you. All of the Fisher Bullet Pens are gift boxed and use a #PR4 black ink (medium point) pressurized Fisher Space Pen refill. When opened the Fisher Bullet Pens measure 5.3 inches (13,5 cm) with a closed length of 3.7 inches (9,40 cm). Did you know that the Fisher Bullet Pens have been exhibited for years in the New York Museum of Modern Art? Often imitated, never duplicated!

What's the big deal about Fisher Space Pens?

There are a few reasons; Firstly it is a unique product that is not easily replicated, and is a quality  brand that is known throughout the world, and they have been used in outer space.

The pens are made in the USA . The refill is a sealed nitrogen pressurised refill. This means that when you happen to be taking a note and writing on a piece of paper against a wall, unlike ballpoint pens, the Fisher Space Pen refill continues to write because it has its own internal pressure and does not rely on gravity to feed the ink to the ball.

Another feature is the ink. The ink is call Thixotropic (Sounds gummy doesn't it). This ink is chemically formulated so you can write on wet paper, on oily surfaces, in high heat, frozen conditons etc.

Why I sell them !

I carry one of these in a special wallet designed by Fisher Space Pen company, so I always have it on me, The pen is ideal for filling out forms at banks, taking down traffic accident details or taking down a friends details in a bar or restaurant. it works well in these environments where you sometimes need to write on a serviette (napkin) or a damp coaster or piece of paper or surface that is not always optimum. The unique features of the refill come into play here.

The design of the pen is unique. I have these pens in black, gold (brass with a lacquer finish), chrome, camouflage, pink, and I can get other colours too. Fisher also now make a pen called the Trekker which offers the same benefits and is designed as a modern urban gear tool, supplied with a keyring holder and lanyard, and is about the length of 1 and a half penlight batteries.
