Five-Channel Logic Analyzer You are bidding on a five-channel logic analyzer. This logic analyzer was originally purchased as an assembled unit based on a project article in the January 1997 "Electronics Now" magazine. Readers were offered the option of a parts kit or a completely assembled and tested unit. I opted for the assembled and tested unit. Original cost was $65.I used this device in a digital design class to troubleshoot prototype digital circuits. It worked great in that application and, in fact was used by many colleges as listed in the documentation for instructional purposes. It is a great hobbyist-level device for learning about logic analyzers (theory of operation an construction article included) and their use. I used this in a Windows 98 DOS window on a laptop computer. My understanding is that it might be possible to use this in an XP or Vista environment, but I have not tested that premise.
