Flax are hardy, perennial, clumping plants, grown for their upright arching leaves which come in a range of colours depending on the cultivar.

DESCRIPTION:

  • This flax species is one of the hardier varieties and can tolerate extended hot dry weather conditions. It has salmon pink leaves striped with green and the older leaves become more yellow. Ideal for sunny postions coastal gardens, low maintenance gardens and containers.
  • Grows to 1.2 M.
  • Plant supplied will be an established plant approx 25 - 30cm high with some offsets forming.

CULTURE NOTES

  • Thrives in a sunny to partly shaded position in well-drained soil.
  • Grow in most soils and conditions, but prefer a moist well-drained position with enough sunlight to enhance foliage colour.
  • Benefits from mulch, occasional fertilizer.  
  • Tip: Use water crystals when planting to help establish plant

    PAYMENTS
