Once again my wardrobe is looking very full so it's time to clear out some of the things that don't fit or I no longer wear ....


FLEUR WOOD art deco style silk cotton dress 1 / 8 - 10

A lovely vintage style dress from Fleur Wood. I bought it from the factory outlet at Birkenhead Point in May 2008, but haven’t worn it as it’s a touch too small for me. It’s a sales sample so it has no labels i.e. no brand, sizing or care label. 

The dress is a cream colour with a slight peach undertone.  The skirt is made from a silk/cotton blend and has a slight tulip shape. It is lined in soft cotton. The upper part of the dress is made from mesh/lace and features intricate beadwork around the waist. It fastens with a concealed back zip.  Please note, the upper part of the dress is sheer. I am wearing it over a singlet in the photo that I have just added.

It has no sizing label, but it will best fit an Australian size 8 or a small 10. Approximate measurements are as follows: length from underarm to hem 79cm; length from shoulder to hem 98cm; underarm to underarm 41cm; waist 36cm across one side. It has not been worn but has been tried on many times. There is a small hole in the lace near to the waistband (pictured) but can't see any other faults.
 

 All items have been bought for my personal use – rather than being bought with the intent to resell them. I try to honestly describe all items, including any imperfections, but am happy to offer a refund if the item is not as described. Please note I will NOT refund if you change your mind or if an item doesn't fit, so please check sizing and measurements before bidding. I always combine postage for multiple items.
