HISTORY:

Most military experts credit the Allies victory over Germany top the fact that the Allies overwhelmed the enemy with men and supplies. The 2 1/2 Ton cargo truck was the mainstay of this effort. Built by GMC, REO, Studebaker and International Harvester, over 750,000 of these were built in a 4-year period. Protected by a M50 machine Gun, each of these trucks could carry up to 20 troops or 5000 pounds across rough terrain or 10,000 pounds across roads, all on one 50-gallon tank of gas.
