The purpose of the Heater Control Valve is to regulate the flow of coolant to the heater core. In the off position the heater valve blocks coolant flow to the heater core hence when no heating is required and the reverse when heating inside the vehicle is needed. The heater valve can be activated by vacuum control in late model vehicles and cable in earlier models. Common failures include leakage, blocking and because most late model valves are made of polymer, cracking when removing heater hoses is common.

DELIVERY

We use Australia Post Registered Mail for all Deliveries, All deliveries are shipped from Carlisle in Perth, WA.

Payment to be made within 7 days of auction end.  An invoice will be sent with all Bank Details Printed on the bottom of invoice.

WARRANTY

EXPRESS RADIATORS PTY LTD WARRANTS ITS PRODUCTS TO BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FROM THE DATE OF SALE TO THE FIRST RETAIL PURCHASER.  THE WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO THE PARTS SUPPLIED TO THE CUSTOMER AND THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO THE CUSTOMER FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR SPECIAL LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING NOT LIMITED TO REMOVAL & REFITTING OF THE PARTS TO THE CUSTOMER.  PROOF OF PURCHASE MUST BE MAINTAINED TO VALIDATE THE WARRANTY.  FAILURE TO PRODUCE PROOF OF PURCHASE VOIDS THE WARRANTY.

  

IMPORTANT PART

 

THE VEHICLE MUST BE RETURNED TO AN AUTHORISED RADIATOR REPAIR CENTRE AFTER 12 MONTHS 25,000kms (WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST) TO VALIDATE FURTHER 12 MONTH WARRANTY.  FAILURE TO SERVICE THE RADIATOR AND COOLING SYSTEM AT THE REQUIRED INTERVALS WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

  

 

CONDITIONS

 

• PROOF OF PURCHASE MUST BE SUPPLIED BY THE CUSTOMER BEFORE ANY  WARRANTY CLAIMS WILL BE ADDRESSED.  THIS WOULD BE IN THE FORM OF INVOICE NUMBER AND PURCHASE DATE.
• THE WARRANTY WILL ONLY APPLY IF A RADIATOR ASSEMBLY OF SUITABLE TYPE AND SPECIFICATION HAS BEEN CORRECTLY INSTALLED IN THE VEHICLE
• THE VEHICLES COOLING SYSTEM MUST BE INSPECTED AND SERVICED 12 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE BY AN AUTHORISED RADIATOR REPAIR CENTRE.  PRIOR TO REMOVAL OF THE OLD RADIATOR, THE COOLING SYSTEM MUST BE CHECKED FOR STRAY CURRENT AND REPAIRED AS NECESSARY.
• BEFORE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW ASSEMBLY THE COOLING SYSTEM MUST BE THOROUGHLY FLUSHED TO REMOVE COOLANT RESIDUE, SLUDGE AND MINERAL/METAL DEPOSITS.
• THE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS REQUIREMENTS.
• THE WARRANTY WILL ONLY APPLY IF THE COOLANT INSTALLED MEETS THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER’S SPECIFICATIONS AND IS USED IN THE CORRECT QUANTITY.  AFTERMARKET COOLANTS MUST MEET OR EXCEED THE AS/NZS 2108.1-1997 STANDARD.
• WHEN THE NEW ASSEMBLY HAS BEEN FITTED THE COOLING SYSTEM MUST BE RECHECKED FOR THE PRESENCE OF STRAY CURRENT.

Unless otherwise stated all products have a warranty period of 12 months from date of purchase on production of the appropriate sales    invoice.

We will happily offer replacement items (no refunds) if:
- Item is dead on arrival or damaged
- There is a manufacturing fault with the item
- The wrong item was sent to you

Warranty does not cover any related installation costs involved.

No refunds or replacement items will be issued prior to the receipt and proper testing and inspection of any goods that are deemed faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Always contact us with any issues or problems prior to returning the item/s. We will work hard to resolve any issues.
