I have just taken delivery of the fleeces I requested from the most recent shearing of angora goats.  Included in it is some wonderful extra long fleece, around 25cms or 10 inches in length, that will be ideal for many purposes and especially for reborners I believe. So i am taking the opportunity to use the last of my current stocks of long mohair (18-20cms length) as samples for those of you who would appreciate  the opportunity to see just how good this mohair is for yourselves and what you can expect from my new mohair once it is sorted and washed and listed for sale.

My fleeces come from one of Australia's most prominent commercial producers who in 30 years of Angora goat breeding have sourced the best of Australian, Texan and South African genetics. Routinely all their production is classed and sold in the mohair pool except for fleeces retained for particular purposes and superior fleeces retained to be sold to the most demanding of personal spinners and craftsfolk.
