 AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE FRENCH VICTORIAN HAND MADE HEAVY IVORY WHITE COTTON BATTENBURG TWO PIECE LACE WEDDING DRESSES. I BOUGHT THIS DRESS FOR MY WIFE IN 1987 FROM A FRENCH COLLECTOR IN PARIS. THE BLOUSE HAS A HIGH NECK WITH LARGE PUFFY SLEEVES AND TIGHT CUFFS. THE SKIRT HAS A LONG TRAIN WITH VERY HEAVY HAND MADE LACE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS. THE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT FOR THIS PERIOD WITH A FEW BROKEN STRINGS HERE AND THERE. IF REQUESTED I CAN HAVE IT PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED FOR A SMALL FEE. THE BLOUSE HAS A 38 INCH BUST, 30 INCH WAIST, 20 INCH LENGTH, 14 INCH NECK AND 34 INCH SLEEVES. THE SKIRT HAS A 26 INCH WAIST AND ABOUT 2 INCHES CAN BE LET OUT WITH A 41 INCH LENGTH IN FRONT AND A 51 INCH LENGTH ON THE TRAIN. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED ADDITIONAL PHOTOS. THIS IS ONE OF THE TRUE GEMS OF THE COLLECTION. I NEVER MEANT TO SELL IT BUT I WOULD LIKE MY CUSTOMERS TO AT LEAST SEE THE PHOTOS INSTEAD OF IT SITTING IN STORAGE FOREVER. IT WOULD BE A TRUE INVESTMENT FOR A WEDDING AND I HOPE I GET AN INVITATION WITH THE PURCHASE.
