You are bidding on 500gm of black SURI alpaca fleece.

This is the highest quality fleece taken only from the "blanket" area.

(more variable neck and leg fleece has been removed).

The fleece is unprocessed and may contain some dust and vegetable matter.

We use an experienced shearer - so minimal second cuts.

We don't have any test results for this specific fleece. However, its handle would indicate it is about 20 micron.

Alpaca fleece is unsurpassed for its softness, lightness and warmth - it was known to the Incas as 'Fibre of the Gods'.
