This fan forced oven was purpose built by Helios of Melbourne for heating plastic sheet so it could by molded in a press. mostly cast acrylic sheet (perspex) but also Vivac, HIPS, and ABS.
It was built in 2004 and I used it until 2007 when I closed the business down. It is currently in storage in Braeside Vic.
It is in excellent condition and works very well and economically. It requires 3 phase power rated at 6.66 kilowatts, 240/415 volts. The elements are in the floor and the air recirculates up through cavities in the side walls and back down through the top of the oven.This creates a very even heat front to back and top to bottom. There is mid mounted hanging rack.
This oven could also be used for other applications such as drying items and shelves could be added.
The dimensions outside are: 130cm x 130cm x 220cm high
The dimensions inside are: 91cm wide x 98cm deep x 167.5cm high
The oven is pick up only from Braeside.
