FEATHER FLOWER
Verticordia pennigera

This shrub is a native of south-west Western Australia where it grows in sandy or gravelly clay-based well-drained soils. It does well in a protected, partially shaded position and is drought and frost hardy.
An evergreen shrub growing to a height of half a metre, it has small linear green leaves and gorgeous, dainty, toothed, pink flowers in clusters. This plant is a delight in flower from late winter to summer.
On offer is a packet of 30 seeds and detailed Grownotes to assist you to grow this shrub. Seed for this plant should be planted in Winter. It is erratic in germination and perhaps one for the more experienced gardener. This seed requires smoke treatment to germinate which can be found by searching for 'smoke treatment' in my store. Smoke treatment is the simple process of sprinkling treated vermiculite over the sown seeds.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
