A lovely old print from one of our Heidelberg school artists, "Feeding the Chickens, Richmond. NSW", from the original painting by Charles Conder 1868-1909.  A young girl is feeding the chickens in the foreground, there is a home behind her, also some people talking beside the home and a man with horse and cart.

Charles Edward Conder (24 October 1868 – 9 February 1909) was an English-born painter, who emigrated to Australia and was a key figure in the Heidelberg School, arguably the beginning of a distinctively Australian tradition in Western art.

The print is behind glass in a white wooden frame with card backing and wire for hanging.  The frame is 47 x 36.5cm.  In excellent condition.
