Pattern for a simple basic 18"-22" Christmas stocking is knit on 10.5 circulars and then felted in your washing machine. Double pointed needles are needed for the I cord hanging loop and the heel and toe portions.
This stocking is perfect for embellishment with needle felting, embroidery, buttons, applique or many other craft techniques for that heirloom stocking.
