Superb mid 19th century continental silver snuff box.
The lid is beautifully decorated in fine pique work with three colours of gold inlay depicting an image of Napoleon on St Helena.
Excellent condition with no repairs at all, a good strong hinge & snug fitting lid & only a couple of minor dings on the base.
A rare snuff box straight from a private estate & completly fresh to the market.
Tests for silver but no hallmarks
Size:8.2cm wide, 5cm deep & stands 2cm high.
Weighs:64 grammes.
