	Antiques of the future!
	Old Tupton Ware is a classic pottery range. As a Collector you will appreciate that each piece has been entirely handmade. No two are identical which enhances it's appeal. The Artwork is tranferred to the piece by Tubeling, a method originally produced by Moorcroft, a process whereby the raised outlines are squeezed through a glass tube from a bag held in the sculpter's hand. This forms well's which are then entirely hand painted with Metallic Oxide colours. After drying, additional colour washes are applied over the top until the desired colour intensity is achieved. The piece is then fired in a kiln after being dipped in transparent glaze and a second firing gives the brillance of colour.
