The Disc-BUDDY has few moving parts and is very easy to operate. It has a single polish and pad system of repair o you don't need any special training or technical skills to run the machine.

The disc is placed onto the platen pad, twist on the holding knob. Close the lid and set the timer.

With the Disc Buddy a scratched disc can be repaired in a few minutes back to new condition. The equipment is small, compact and easy to use.

Optical discs include Music CDs, RW CD ROMs, DVDs and Game Discs of all types. For the purpose of this proposal we will refer to all optical discs as Discs.

The damage that our disc repair machines repair is the scratches noticeable on the shiny side (not the picture side). The equipment gently grinds off a portion of the shiny polymer to beyond the scratch making the disc appear brand new again.

A disc can be repaired up to 70 times depending on the initial damage. The repair success rate is over 98% You can also use a disc checker to verify that the disc is 100% playable.

This equipment is designed for commercial applications and will easily cope with a retail disc repair operation.

There are over a billion optical discs in circulation throughout Australasia. It is not just the mistreatment of the discs that cause the headaches , the console can actually scratch the game if it is bumped during play (this is particularly bad with Xbox).
