Diesel loco of the DB, class 260 in digital version. Switchable on/off constant headlights, coordinated with direction of travel. With Twin Decoder 6846. Twin Digital Locomotive, Recognizable by the prefix 6 in front of the article number, meaning that these vehicles are fitted with a Twin Decoder. The twin decoder understands two languages;  DCC language, and FMZ, the original Fleischmann multi train system language.

Prototype:
Original Diesel Hydraulic locomotive Class 260  of the DB. Type C, 3 axles with jackshaft drive. Power 478kW (650HP) Weight 54 tons. Top speed: road gear 60kph Yard gear 30kph. About 1000 built. Service: yard work and local freight.

The models of engines and coaches of Fleischmann miniature electric trains are characterised by their precision of reproduction. The plans include all details which could be found by their engineers on historical documents and photographs. Manufacturing is precise to 1/10th of millimetre, and several details are finely reproduced either out of metal or plastic. Finally, Fleischmann uses a technique of impression of drawings and texts on locos and cars called tampography, which guarantees model trains an extreme realism with very fine and authentic inscriptions.
