Fluid resistance trainers offer realistic feedback that mimics conditions out on the road by responding to minute changes in speed and power more progressively. This is especially important at lower speeds and cadences as it removes the jerkiness sometimes found on magnetic and wind trainers. These are for experienced riders looking to ride regularly indoors, and wanting the best ride possible from an indoor set-up but without the budget of an Ergo Trainer.

Q. Is this unit quiet?
A. Fluid trainers are the quietest form of resistance trainers.

Q.How reliable are these units?
A. We have sold over 600 units with only 2 warranty claims in the past 3 years. Both problems related to damage during transit and were replaced within our warranty program.. An excellent 2 year warranty provides peace of mind.

Q. If I break the lever or lose a part what can I do?
A. We carry a full range of spare parts to ensure years of training on your machine.
The most commonly sold spare part is the lever. If you get too excited training and jerk roughly at it , it can break! This is not covered by warranty unless there was an issue when new.

Q. Do I need a riser block?
A. It is not essential - many people use a telephone book, the riser block is neater and locates the wheel a bit better.

Q. Can I use my mountain bike on it?
A. Yes all bike sizes 26", 27" and raod bikes fit on the trainer. If you want you use knobbys it will be hard going (but good training) and if the tread pattern is very open you will get a rough ride. Many knobbys with a good centre ridge line will be ok to use on the trainer, and if you use slicks you will get the same ride as on a road bike!
